Adrenaline or Epinephrine Drug as Emergency Drugs
Adrenaline drug is a sympathomimetics drug. Mechanism of action of Adrenaline: It acts on alpha-1, beta-1, beta-2 receptor.
In anaphylactic shock, Epinephrine is drug of choice. It acts on alpha-1 and beta receptor to cause vasoconstriction.
Epinephrine is also used in case of Cardiac arrest.
